Turn on location services (GPS) at all times
Having location services (GPS) turned on is the most basic setting for iSharing to detect your location. Please make sure that it is enabled with all the appropriate permissions given to iSharing.
Turn on high location accuracy settings on your device
There are additional settings that allow even more accurate location detection.

- [Android] Enable "High Accuracy" and turn on Google Location Accuracy
Check that the internet connection is steady
Reliable internet access is required to avoid interruptions in location sharing and history features.
- Turn on both WiFi and Data, regardless of which one you’re connected to
- Have data left in your wireless plan, if you don’t have unlimited data
- [Android] Check additional data saving settings on your phone
Turn off Low Power Mode or Battery Saver Mode
Depending on the device, the phone may shut down iSharing from running in the background if a battery-preserving setting is turned on.
Have iSharing running in the background at all times

Check your surroundings
Please note that accuracy also depends on your environment and your phone. For instance, if you’re underground or have a very old phone, the iSharing app will have difficulty sharing your precise location.
