Internet access is required for continuous location sharing, because your location may not be uploaded to our servers otherwise. If you have run out of data or are not connected to WiFi, your location will not update in iSharing. Plus, location history will be missing during the time you don't have access to the internet.
Leave WiFi turned on
WiFi should be turned on regardless of whether you're connected to a WiFi network. Nearby signals are used to detect your location even more precisely.
