Set up your Family Circle

With a family circle, you can enjoy all of these benefits.

You won't need to set places separately for each family member.
- Set your home as a family place, and everyone can get a notification when a family member arrives home.
- Set the school or after-school class your child goes to for the whole circle. Both parents get departure and arrival alerts without setting it up on each phone.
Premium Service can be shared with circle members.
- When one family member subscribes to Premium Service, the whole family can use it.
Create a fun nickname for your own family!
- Give your family a nickname with personality, such as 'Home Sweet Home' or 'The Millers'.

1. Creating a Circle

You can create a circle by selecting the 'Friend' button on the main screen.

Enter a name for your family circle.

Yay! Now your family circle has been created.

2. Inviting Your Family

Now, you can invite your family into the family circle.

You can create an invitation code by selecting the family circle and clicking the '+' button. Send the invitation code to your family in your preferred way.

3. Join a Circle

Join the circle after receiving your invitation code.

Select the 'Friend' button on the main screen and select the 'Already have an invite code?' button at the bottom.
When you enter the received code, the invited circle appears.
Check if it's the right circle and choose 'Join Circle'.

Yay! Now your family circle is complete.

4. Setting Up a Circle Location

You can set the location for the entire circle without having to set it separately for each family member.

Select a family circle and select 'Places'.
Add a place that the whole family uses in common, such as 'Home'.
You can add wherever you want in addition to the default location categories.
In 'Receive notifications from', you can turn off notifications for the family members who don't need them. (For example, if you turn off the parents' notifications for 'School', you will only be notified when your child arrives.)
