With iSharing's Panic Alert(SOS alert) feature, you can notify your selected friends in emergency situations. To enhance safety, iSharing also allows you to include surrounding sounds in your Panic alert.
This feature lets your friends hear the recorded audio from your environment when they receive the alert, helping them assess the situation better.
You can enable this feature in the settings before an emergency occurs.
📍 iSharing > Menu (Top Left) > Manage Alerts > Panic Alert > Enable "Include sound in SOS"
Once enabled, whenever you send an SOS alert, the recorded sound from your surroundings will automatically be included.
In an emergency, follow these steps to send an SOS alert with sound:
- Open the iSharing app.
- Tap the SOS button on the top left of the main screen.
- After a 10-second countdown, an Panic alert will be sent to your selected friends. *During these 10 seconds, the surrounding sound will be recorded.
- If "Include Sound in SOS" is enabled, your friends can check the recorded audio from your surroundings in addition to the SOS alert sent with the siren.
- You can find the recorded audio from a friend's SOS alert in the Feed inbox: iSharing > Messages (top right) > Notification List.
By using this feature, you can provide extra context to your panic alerts and help your friends respond more effectively. Make sure to enable this feature in advance so that you're prepared for any emergency situation.
