What are Place Markers?

In order to make the map more interactive and informative, "Place Markers" have been added. These Place Markers will be shown on the map, just like where your friends are currently located. 

These Place Markers could be somewhere you have already set up a Place Alert, or somewhere we have automatically detected as your friend's home, work, or school.

Depending on what the marker looks like, it will denote what kind of a Place it is and whether you have set up a Place Alert for the location.

You can choose whether to display these Place Markers on your map or not. You can turn it on and off like the following:

1. Open iSharing app
2. Menu (left top)
3. Settings
4. Turn the toggle next to "Place Markers" on or off
