What is Moments?
Moments is a weekly recap that brings together your and your friends' movement and activity from the past 7 days in one place. The Friend Heatmap gives you an instant picture of where your friends have been this week. It also shows how much you walked and drove, where you spent the most time, and turns your best moments into cards you can share with friends.
New records keep building up, so open Moments to look back on your week and share it with friends.
Opening Moments
- Open the iSharing app and go to the map screen.
- Tap the 🦋 Moments button at the bottom center of the screen.
- Your Moments report opens.
Moments is calculated from the last 7 days of data each time you open it. The date at the top (e.g., June 9 – June 15) shows the 7-day period the report covers, and it shifts depending on the day you open it.
What you can see in Moments
1. Friend Heatmap
Shows where your friends spent time over the past week, marked by color on the map. The darker the color, the longer they stayed.
2. Highlights
Gathers the most memorable records of the week.
- How many times you met a friend (e.g., You met Alex 23 times)
- Best walking record (e.g., 667m)
- Best trip record (e.g., 8.4km)
3. Recent Trends
Compares this week's activity with last week's.
- Walking / running distance
- Driving distance
- Time spent at places
Each item shows the change from last week (e.g., -17.6 km vs. last week).
4. Moments Together & Passing Moments
Gathers the time you spent with friends and the moments you briefly crossed paths.
- Moments Together: ordered by the most time spent with a friend. Each entry shows time together (e.g., 43 hours), the number of meetings (e.g., Met Alex 23 times), the period, and a location map.
- Passing Moments: brief moments when you passed by the same place.
5. Rankings by activity
Organizes the week's records into rankings by activity type.
- Walking / Running / Driving / Places Visited / Journey
Tap any ranking item to see the detailed record and a route map.
Seeing only a butterfly in an empty section? It means there's no recorded data for that period. It fills in automatically as movement and activity build up.
