Even if Wi-Fi is turned off, location tracking is still possible when GPS is enabled.
However, since GPS signals are weak indoors, Google and Apple rely on previously collected Wi-Fi information to determine location.
Therefore, even if you are not actively using Wi-Fi, keeping it turned on significantly improves location accuracy.
When Wi-Fi is off, the location accuracy is often reduced, and your contact's location may appear as a large red circle on the map.
iSharing determines your location using a combination of GPS, Wi-Fi, and mobile data (internet connection).
For the most accurate location service, we recommend that you keep both GPS and Wi-Fi enabled at all times, even if you're not actively using them.
The "Wi-Fi Off" indicator does not refer to your Wi-Fi connection status. It means that the Wi-Fi feature itself is disabled on your device.
