If you see a red ⚠️ icon next to a friend's name, something on their phone is stopping their location from updating or making it less accurate. Tap the friend to see a status label that explains the issue and how to fix it.
How it works
- Friend list – If there's an issue with a friend's phone, a red ⚠️ icon appears next to their name.
- Friend detail view – Tap that friend to open their details. A status label appears under their name and tells you what's wrong.
- Tap the label – A popup explains the issue. You can tap Message [friend's name] to ask them to fix it.

Your friend's privacy level is set to "Share distance only", so you can see how far away they are but not their exact location. Ask them to change it at Menu > Privacy.
